In our world today, valentine is synonymous to illicit sex, wasteful spending, nudity, lust, greed, fornication, carelessness, and every form of vice but this should not be the case.

Valentine day is not the day of love; Love should be shown everyday.
Valentine day is not the day of illicit sex; illicit sex is an abomination to God.
*Illicit sex is sex with someone you are not married to.
Valentine day is not the day of sexual impurity in all its forms; heart and life purity is expected of all believers everyday as we await the coming of our Lord.
Valentine day is not the day for wasteful spending; we are stewards of the resources at out disposal and we are accountable to God on how we dispense them.
Valentine day is not the day for nudity in dressing; we are to do all we do for God’s glory everyday.
Valentine day is not the day for preying on unsuspecting or naive girls or men; we are commanded to relate with all with purity and brotherly love.
Valentine day is not the day to throw caution to the wind; we are to be sober and vigilant always.
Valentine day is not the day of sin; we are to be holy as He is holy.
Valentine day is the day to develop your life and be better; take a step to be better everyday.
Valentine day is the day to receive the love of Christ into your heart; for God so loved you that He gave you His only begotten son.
Valentine day is the day of salvation; for today is the day, now is the accepted time.
Valentine day is the day to prepare for the rapture; the son of man comes like a thief in the night.

Valentine day is like any other day; we are expecting the coming of our Lord anytime, anyday.
