BITTER HONEY 1

"Abortion?"

"Me? Have an abortion? That is not happening! Not in this life!"

She shook her head vigorously as if to wake herself from a bad dream.

"Then be ready to bear it all alone! I am not ready to be a father!" He responded carelessly.

He walked lazily to the armchair, sat down and threw his feet across the armrest.

"I hate you!"

She screamed at him as the veins on her neck bulged as if they would burst.

"You would have me kill my child, your child, our child?" She asked.

"Didn't know you weren't ready for fatherhood before demanding for multiple rounds of sex while refusing protection?"

She said without waiting for a response, not that any was forthcoming anyway.

"You disgust me!" She spat at him as she picked up her handbag and slammed the door on her way out of his room.

She entered the first tricycle she sighted and leaned her head against its side.

"I'm going to Akesan."

"Do you know Baba Majenjiyagbe's compound? Please drop me in front of the house. I will pay whatever you charge." She told the driver.

The discussion is far from over.  She thought.

The time and venue has only changed!

This will be the last child you father! She swore to herself as tears dripped from her eyes.

Baba would see to her getting her own pound of flesh.

She smiled with self-satisfaction as she remembered Ade and Lawal but of whom have been married for 7 years now without any issue.

Infact, she tapped her feet against the floor of the tricycle, she would take not only flesh but bones, blood, veins and arteries!

Sin, no matter how sweet it appears is always bitter in the end. Don't be fooled, sinful enjoyment is not cheap! It is very costly. The cost is your life, your future, God's plan for you, even your eternity!

Sin is bitter honey!
